  • Follow I-95 South to Exit 8 for RT 202 North
  • Stay to the right and take the first exit for RT 141 South/RT 261 North
  • The road forks after 1/4 mile, Stay right for RT 261 North / Foulk Rd
  • Take the first right onto Weldin Rd. The parking lot will be on your right

From Baltimore, MD and points South

  • Follow I-95 North to Exit 8 for RT 202 North
  • Stay to the right and take the first exit for RT 141 South/RT 261 North
  • The road forks after 1/4 mile. Stay right for RT 261 North / Foulk Rd
  • Take the first right onto Weldin Rd. The parking lot will be on your right

From West Chester, PA and points West

  • Follow RT 202 South
  • Bear right at the RT 261 / Augustine Cut-off exit
  • At the light, turn left onto Powder Mill Rd
  • After going under RT 202, turn right onto Weldin Rd. The parking lot will be on your right.

From southern New Jersey and points East

  • Follow I-95 South to Exit 8 for RT 202 North
  • Stay to the right and take the first exit for RT 141 South / RT 261 North
  • The road forks after 1/4 mile. Stay right for RT 261 North / Foulk Rd
  • Take the first right onto Weldin Rd. The parking lot will be on your right

Parking Instructions

Delaware State Parks daily entrance fees are in effect for parking in Alapocas Run State Park. Daily entrance fees are $3.00 for In-State Vehicles, $6.00 for Out-of-State Vehicles (up to 15 passenger vehicles). For Bus Fees contact the park office at 302-577-1164. Vehicles displaying a valid Annual Pass or Surf Fishing Tag are exempt from daily entrance fees.

For visitors attending both days of the Pumpkinfest Tournament, entrance fees will be waived on Sunday with presentation and display of a valid paid receipt from Saturday. Vehicles not displaying a valid paid receipt from Saturday will be required to pay the daily entrance fee on Sunday. If paid receipts are lost or stolen the daily entrance fee will be in effect and must be paid upon re-entering the park.

Entrance fees are paid using a Self-Registration system. Visitors complete the available payment envelope and deposit it along with the fee into a Self-Payment canister located in the parking lot. Change is not available. Individuals attempting to circumvent this process and payment of the fee will be in violation of park rules and regulations and may be fined.

Three parking lots are available for tournament parking.
