2015 Collegiate Clinic
PWRFC's 2015 Collegiate Clinic is just a few days away.Thanks to everyone who has registered. We look forward to seeing you on February 21st!
PWRFC Head Coach, Bob Weir, has developed a clinic curriculum according to participants' needs, interests, and skill levels. Bob is an International Rugby Board (IRB) Coach Educator and Trainer, a Coach Development Course Leader for the USA Rugby Coaching Development Program and a graduate of USA Rugby’s first Advanced Coaching Course in Glendale.
**NEW THIS YEAR!** Philly Women will host a Meet-and-Greet immediately following the Clinic at the Draught Horse on Temple's campus. We will provide light appetizers free of charge, and you are welcomed and encouraged to purchase anything else off of the menu. This event is great way to get to know PWRFC and learn more about rugby after college.LOGISTICS
WHAT : PWRFC's 2015 Collegiate Clinic + Philly Meet-and-Greet
WHEN : Saturday, February 21, 2015. Please arrive at 8:30 AM for registration. The Clinic runs from 9:00 AM-NOON. Meet-and-greet will directly follow from noon-1:30 PM.
WHERE : Temple University's Pearson McGonigle 3rd Floor Rec Courts at 1800 N. Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19121. Free and metered parking is available on the street and in the Liacouras center parking lot for $15/day. The Cecil B. Moore subway stop is about a block away, and the Temple University Regional Rail Station is about a 15 minute walk from the gym.
***NOTE: You will need your ID to get into the building. Food and drink is prohibited in the gym (water is fine!). Please wear sneakers, rugby shorts, and bring a light and dark jersey or T-shirt.
The Meet-and-Greet will occur at the Draught Horse at 1431 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
HOW MUCH : The Clinic is FREE with donation of a canned good to support Philabundance, or a $5 donation to Philabundance.
